This is great - and I completely agree - we are all in unique positions to tell certain stories better than others bc we are so intimately entangled with them. I'm glad you haven't been pigeon-holed AND I'm glad you're writing about Turner Syndrome (fascinating anatomy you shared with us...!)
Thank you Fleur!! I really appreciate it. And glad the resources are helpful! I always enjoy coming across them and adding great things I find to my list of things to share :)
I found this unaccountably moving. (And a little hard to read -- my own first baby had surgery at one day old for a birth defect that has the same incidence rate as being hit by a meteor, and it's always a bit like whiplash to bring myself back to that experience.) I am so, so glad you're here on earth. And amazed by all the incredible work you're doing.
I sometimes have concerns about the pigeon-holing thing too but then tend to go back to the same subjects and I think it makes sense that there are some we will always want to write about. And thanks for the shout out on my post :)

Thank you!! And exactly, I love the stories that you can tell really came from somewhere special.
One butterfly to another, we need all the stories we can get! Keep ‘em coming!
Thank you!!!!!
I love this! I’ve had a similar trajectory. I hope to write many more things about CF as well as other disabilities. 💜
Yesssss!! I cant wait to read them :)
Very moving, Sarah. I had no idea about a lot of this...
Also wanted to thank you for the great resources at the end of your newsletter.

Right?? I think we’re drawn to these things for a reason.
